The tour went on the road during September 2006, and reached around 7,500 secondary school pupils in 16 schools across the UK.

About the tour

Forget stuffy presentations. The tour includes a video show, fashion catwalk, Q&A sessions, equipment displays, trampoline demonstration, product sampling and countless give-aways. Oh, and of course, 1250 free lessons.

The result? 1000's of children are going to get to grips with the basics of boarding and skiing, get their hands on all the gear, learn about mountain safety, and how school studies can compliment sporting development, plus career related options and much more.

"Just a quick note to thank you and the team for coming to school today with Snowlife. The pupils really enjoyed themselves and hopefully will take advantage of the free lessons and get hooked this weekend. If you could pass on my thanks to Sonia and the team I'd be grateful, they all worked very hard to put on two high intensity, well designed performances which both engaged and motivated those present. Excellent!"

Nick Fleet, Head of PE

Ridgeway High School - Plymouth
"The presentations were great it's just what our school has been waiting for, the enthusiasm of the team was immense, with kids coming out afterwards saying that's what they wanted to get a career in when they're older. There was a positive response to all the aspects of the presentation and it produced about 40 pupils logging on to the site for lessons. Staff who attended with classes were also impressed by the show and also the way in which they spoke to, and dealt with the kids. Please pass on our thanks and best wishes to the group for the future." Jack McLaren - Principal Teacher Physical Education

The presentation gave a great insight into the snowsports world and the enthusiasm from you guys brushed off on our students...thanks a million!!" Anne Marie McEvoy - Head of PE
