There are hundreds of ski clubs in the UK. Most of them are geared up for the social side of snowsport – so they run skiing holidays, dry slope sessions and weekend trips. Other clubs are a bit more serious, and involved in competitions.
The best way to check out your local club is to go along to a meeting. You'll find a room choc full of skiing nuts who'll fill you in on the sport – and convert you to the cause.
