Your heart and lungs are going to get the workout of their lives and that's before we get into Nordic Skiing or Telemark. If you're already pretty fit, you'll find that skiing really helps you in your other sports – keeping you supple and strong.

A busy après-ski bar. A roaring fire. A bottle of schnapps. What could possibly go wrong? Ditch all your preconceptions about the kind of people who go skiing it's not just for the ridiculously posh and wealthy. These days, everyone's enjoying the sport – and that's A Good Thing.
